About Us

We are a patriotic, diverse family of seven residing in New England. With two wonderful dogs, Bristol and Bella, we tell others about the incredible breed of Bernese Mountain Dogs and point back to their amazing history. We live on a homestead with bees, chickens, and a garden and strive to better our skills as homesteaders. In life we constantly learn. We are open to learn and open to share-because that is what this website is for. To share. We share the snapshots of life's little things, including little roly-poly puppies, breads, and bees.

Although our ages greatly differ, each member of our family loves to spend time together: skiing, taking trips to the beach, exploring the mountains, watching (and playing) football, singing, and attending church. As often as possible, our sweet Bristol goes with us, an integral part of our family. Ever by our side (or sitting on our feet), she loves to frolick in the snow with us, swim in the ocean with us, hike with us, and accompany us wherever we go. She gets so excited when we say the words: "Let's go!"  Bristol also enjoys helping us around the homestead.  She enjoys watching out for the chickens, keeping a keen eye on each member of the family and "collecting sticks" for us as we walk about doing chores.
